So, what is he on about?

Updated: Sep 4, 2023

Why am I telling stories that happened 50 years ago? I'm pretty sure what was learned then is useful today. As previously cited (About Post - The Catalyst), my visiting suppliers in support of my woodshop hobby has exposed many needs, some similar to those troubling businesses way back when. One example is that with COVID, customers disappeared. This is similar to the early eighties when economic havoc took its toll. Markets and suppliers simply vanished. Can they be replaced?

An answer then was that businesses had to 'create' new markets. How do you 'create' a market? Well, Findex created a market. It first created or rather exposed a need. Then it answered the need: providing and implementing a solution. Small independent builders were isolated with little buying clout... once builders realized there was a service available to contest that predicament, they had a need for that service, and Findex Purchasing fulfilled this objective!

Who faces a need now? Well, this is what I would like to know, hopefully with your help. With this in mind, please tell me about the challenges you are facing or know of. Whether you or someone you know is contemplating a business venture, has launched a start-up (with all the challenges that entails), or is struggling in their long-established enterprise, I'd like to know.

Entrepreneurialism has helped many; perhaps it can do it again. Conscious of privacy issues, we can deal with the various examples in the abstract. However, let me know if a 'personal touch' is desired.

Furthermore, I want to know what you think about this 'enterpreneurialize' subject in general. So, please leave a comment, send me a note... or more than a note if you like, or ask a question. Let's have a discussion!
